60-Minute Yin Yoga Class in Zurich Discover the Benefits of Yin Yoga Give your body and mind a deeply restorative break with Yin Yoga. This gentle and meditative practice works deeply on your muscles and connective tissues, improves your flexibility, and soothes stress. Take the time to refocus and find inner balance. Book your class today and feel the benefits from the very first session! Yin Yoga works deeply on the meridians (energy channels running throughout the physical body according to Traditional Chinese Medicine) by regulating the flow of energy (called "Qi," pronounced "Chee"). This energy regulation works on different aspects: mental, emotional, and spiritual. Each posture has a Yin energy—feminine and passive—or a Yang energy—masculine and active—and works on one or more meridians. To fully benefit from the class, we recommend drinking water and eating a light meal at least one hour beforehand. Please ensure you can be in a quiet, undisturbed environment for the entire duration of the class. Please arrive on time to fully experience the benefits of the class with minimal stress on your nervous system. We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing that suits your needs. Equipment is available on-site; however, you are welcome to bring your own: - yoga mat - blanket - yoga bolster (long cushion) - one or two yoga blocks - yoga strap As I am not trained in prenatal yoga, my classes are not suitable for pregnant women.
